Linden Hall: Master Planning Study

Founded in 1746 by the Moravian Church, Linden Hall School for Girls is noted as the oldest resident girl’s school in the United States. Buildings that are centuries old deserve special care. This campus wide master planning study will determine what repairs and renovations are needed now as well as the long term needs for the school. The safety and security of the students who attend classes and live on this historic campus will also be addressed as well as current and projected education program needs. The results of this study will be the “MAP” or Master Action Plan used to allow the school to retain their history while providing a 21st century education.

The scope of this project has expanded to include ongoing campus improvements targeting areas in immediate need of repair. We have coordinated the replacement of windows, carpet upgrades, painting projects as well as making suggestions for other general maintenance projects consistent with future improvement plans.
