Additions & Alterations to Bermudian Springs High
We worked with the District to create educational specifications and are utilizing them to design a renewed high school that will serve the district and community for the next 20-30 years. Mr. Chambers has been assisting this district since 1987 with planning and architectural projects. The main focus of this project is to provide specialized spaces for vocational, general education, arts and athletics which currently do not exist or are overcrowded. The project also incorporates a variety of multi-use areas for break out spaces, large groups, distance learning and integration of technology that have been created for specific multiple uses so as not to be “multi-useless”. Working with the administration we are creating a facility that will provide flexibility for this small high school for future programs and populations.

Linden Hall: Master Planning Study
Founded in 1746 by the Moravian Church, Linden Hall School for Girls is noted as the oldest resident girl’s school in the United States. Buildings that are centuries old deserve special care. This campus wide master planning study will determine what repairs and renovations are needed now as well as the long term needs for the school. The safety and security of the students who attend classes and live on this historic campus will also be addressed as well as current and projected education program needs. The results of this study will be the “MAP” or Master Action Plan used to allow the school to retain their history while providing a 21st century education.

Owen J. Roberts Senior High School: New Security Offices
These summer projects are part of an ongoing list of security up-grades for the school district. Both projects provide check-in areas for visitors as well as employees and students. The high school project includes the addition of a new security office. The district has recently hired a full-time security officer to monitor the daily activities at the school and to be on site for any emergencies.

Central Bucks School District: 10 School Security Project
Renovations and entrance upgrades are required by the district in their ongoing effort to assure the safety and security of their buildings and students. From the simple changing of door hardware to the complete renovation of entrances and office areas, the district continues to look ahead at security needs. We are helping them “measure up” to current trends in security and safety at 10 of their school buildings.

Blossom Hill Mennonite Church
Construction is underway and the congregation is excited about their new sanctuary and community areas.

Owen J. Roberts School District:
District Administration Offices at the Warwick Building
This extreme renovation project is an example of an “adaptive re-use” of a school building. All floors were replaced to create two floor levels in what used to be eight levels without significant changes to the exterior of the building. Township zoning required that the facility look the same after the renovation. In addition, the technology area on the lower level is located on top of an active spring. This level was designed with a waterproofing and sump pump system.

Ephrata Mennonite Church
We worked with this congregation to plan and design a facility that in their words should be “contemporary, traditional and conservative”. The congregation came to us with a program and asked us to create an image that incorporated their roots as a traditional Mennonite church, the architecture of the Ephrata Cloister and area, as well as provide for a more contemporary service that they were envisioning including multi-media and music.
